The simple pattern guide serves as an aide to go along with the video tutorial. It is to help guide you as you watch the tutorial or to refer back to once you complete the tutorial. It is not meant to be used on its own in the way that a crochet or regular knitting pattern can be read and used, as there are no universal terms for finger knitting.
Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE+
You will learn how to finger knit Popper the Penguin by watching and following along on a step-by-step video. This tutorial is perfect for those who already have experience with hand knitting. You can take your time going through the 56 minute video by pausing, rewinding, replaying, or slowing down the video as many times as you need until you get each step down!
Materials needed:
- Chunky blanket or chenille yarn, jumbo size 7
- I use light gray, black, white, and yellow
- Poly-fil
- Scissors

The finished size of the penguin is approximately 10” x 9”. Sizing will vary from person to person since it is finger knit and not done with a specific sized needle or hook. Sizing will depend on how big or small you make your loops.
