This is for anyone who loves learning new skills, DIYs, knitting or crocheting, getting crafty, etc. You will learn how to finger knit Mini Beatrice the Bumblebee by watching and following along on a step-by-step video. This DIY kit is perfect for visual learners. You can take your time going through the 50 minute video by pausing, rewinding, replaying, or slowing down the video as many times as you need until you get each step down!
Materials needed:
- Chunky blanket or chenille yarn, jumbo size 7
- 3 colors of your choosing (I use yellow for the body, black for the stripes, and white for the wings)
- Poly-fil
- Scissors
Where to the buy yarn:
- Hobby Lobby – Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss (Mustard from Hobby Lobby is the color used in the tutorial)
- JOANN – Bernat Blanket Extra
- Michaels – Bernat Blanket BIG
The finished size of the mini bee is approximately 8″ x 6″. Sizing will vary from person to person since it is finger knit and not done with a specific sized needle or hook. Sizing will depend on how big or small you make your loops.
