*If you’ve already purchased (or plan to purchase) the Advent Calendar Pattern, you do NOT need to buy this — it’s already included. This listing is for those who prefer not to make their own calendar but already have, or plan to purchase, a “fill-your-own” advent calendar.
Make your countdown to Christmas fun and meaningful with these customizable Advent calendar inserts!
This document is editable in Canva, so you can easily change the text on each card to fit your own family traditions, favorite activities, or small gift ideas. Simply click on the text you’d like to change, type in your new wording, and download or print your finished cards.
To use your Advent calendar, place one card behind each date — in envelopes, small boxes, or the pockets of the Sab’s Stuffies Advent Calendar — and open one each day leading up to Christmas. You can include a mix of each of the cards for each day, like have an activity plus a gift for each day, or you could include all of the categories for each day!
This PDF was originally created to coordinate with the Sab’s Stuffies Advent Calendar pattern (https://sabsstuffies.com/product/advent-calendar-pattern/), but you don’t need to be a knitter to use these cards and ideas. These cards also work perfectly with any Advent calendar you already have or plan to purchase.
A list of additional ideas is included at the end of most of the categories, so you can easily swap them out or create a new set next year. Every December can feel a little different — and these Advent calendar ideas are made to grow and change right along with your family.
